El Jacmel Inn se abrió en junio de 1977, después de 6 meses reformando el establecimiento en el que se encuentra, construido en 1888. Este establecimiento antiguo de 2 plantas ocupa casi 1 hectárea y se sitúa a 9 calles del centro histórico de Hammond. El exuberante paisaje, el nuevo patio y el amplio aparcamiento hacen del Jacmel Inn un oasis culinario al que merece la pena ir, a solo 96 kilómetros de Nueva Orleans. Went last minute for lunch. Food was delicious and drink specials were fun. It was hard to decide what to order as it all looked so good.

We were there to celebrate our friends birthday. The waitress name was either Jade or Jada. She was "the best" She interacted with us and fit right in with our craziness. My husband said she could sell ice to an Eskimo. Lol. Three of the four of us got the recommended specials. Everything was delicious. It was a Monday night, so it wasn't crowded. The food is a little pricey, but for a special occasion. It is definitely a treat.

We loved Don’s! We tried it because it was recommended by a local colleague of my husband. We loved the boudin balls-so tasty! I enjoyed my blackened fish, and my hubby loved his fried oyster Po boy. Our kids enjoyed their food too-a good kids menu is a plus for us. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
