El icónico Palm Court en el hotel The Plaza ha sido renovado completamente por el arquitecto maestro Thierry Despont. El Palm Court cuenta con menús estadounidenses clásicos y sabrosos desde la mañana y hasta el anochecer. Despont ha logrado recrear la esencia de Central Park dentro del establecimiento, creando un ambiente que resulta cálido, privada y glamoroso. El inmobiliario hecho a la medida brinda un entorno relajado pero elegante, adecuado perfectamente para un desayuno de negocios o una velada con cocteles preparados a mano por el mixólogo Brian Van Flandern. El té de la tarde es toda una experiencia al servirse en vajillas personalizadas y de porcelana, la carta de tés es internacional, y cuenta con un toque de Eloise (niña pequeña de una serie de libros infantiles que vive en el hotel Plaza de Nueva York). Como siempre, nuestra visita al Boat House de Central Park fue una delicia. La calidad de los alimentos, el servicio y el ambiente fue impecable. Especialmente agradable, fue que atendieron mi solicitud de tener una mesa junto al lago, incluida en mi reservación a través de OpenTable. Tip de viajero: hacer reservación con al menos tres semanas de anticipación :)
