A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. We turn tables because we need to in order to survive and pay the people that make it work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a moment for your table. Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. We also received the Thai select award from the UK Thai Embassy which certifies authenticity and the freshness of our ingredients.We’re a young team of enthusiastic individuals, who over the last few years have bought our passion and skills to the table.     You need to try the mushroom pasta! So many people talk about how good the lasagna is (which it is), however, their pasta is also incredible. Have one of the best evenings ever!

    My friends and I had a wonderful night celebrating by birthday at Pasero. The staff were great all night and helpful with catering for dietary requirements. The food was excellent and we enjoyed having the feasting menu rather than having to choose our plates! On the pricier end once you add drinks, but this is a great local business and great all-round experience so worth it.

    We made a last minute booking for 12pm and it did not disappoint! Service was really calm and the food was on point. The right amount per portion, we even had enough room to share one dessert. Thank you for a lovely Sunday roast and a beautiful crisp day.

    Short staffed asked for napkins with food and we were totally forgottten. Guy serving at the bar was very good taller guy ignored me when I was obviously first and served a younger guy who just walked in. Was made to feel invisible
