Drawing upon the rich history of Milwaukee’s craftsmanship we present, Craft. The history of Milwaukee dates to the early 17th and 18th centuries when traders first began to travel through and eventually settle in what is now Milwaukee. Deep European roots brought craftsmen and skilled hands to the area and to this day an ethic of hard work and determination inhabits the spirit of the city. Early on the area was full of coopers, butchers, shoemakers, and farmers. Milwaukee’s beer history started in the 1840’s, driven by the presence of the frontier settlement near the Great Lakes. Immigrants, including Welsh and German settlers, yearned for the native beers of their homelands, so they embarked on making delicious craft beer with techniques from their native countries. Craft features a cuisine including locally sourced foods, hand crafted cocktails, and a vast selection of local beer.

Cuisine Restaurant is a student operated advanced training facility for MATC's Culinary Arts program. The restaurant allows students to gain practical experience in a high-end culinary environment.     Our reservation was at 5pm, they didn’t unlock the doors until a few minutes past 5. Then they didn’t seat us until almost 5:30 and didn’t even take our drink order until almost 6. Finally after asking a few times we got drinks and they finally turned the grill on at 6:30. We were late to the Bucks game but the food was good.

    Absolutely incredible experience and will be dining again! All of the food was amazing, service was incredible and at a great pace, absolutely loved it. The one thing I didn't love was that, although there was a dress code, some patrons were wearing short sleeved shirts, graphic tees, and shorts - which made my partner and I feel a little silly for taking the dress code so seriously. But otherwise, 10/10 and I will be going again! (Also, the prices were far more reasonable than I thought!)

    Food was excellent but our service was a bit lacking, despite it being Christmas Eve it was not that busy. Our server was nice but he never came back to check on drinks or how food was. Overall could have been a bit better.

    Perfect evening! We love the Chop House, and tonight was even better! Marshall was a great server, personable, and offered menu suggestions to make our evening out even better! And the creamed corn was just right, as always!
