Thousand Pound is back and better than ever. Reopening on Thursday, 5 September, in the heart of Main Street, Rutherglen, our beloved local is unveiling a refreshed menu for Spring 2024. Executive Chef Jack Cassidy (also of KIN, New Regional Restaurant of the Year 2024) has crafted an exciting fusion of modern Australian and Asian influences, featuring vibrant flavours from China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Nepal. Delicious pizzas, salmon entree and salads with a fine shiraz and attentive service. We sat overlooking the lake in the shade, perfect 30C day, beautiful lunch with a visiting butterfly that kept coming back to the shiraz.

What an exceptional experience we had at Kin today. The food was so faultless and so beautifully crafted. It's been awhile where I have had food of such a high standard. If you in this part of the victoria do not miss dining here. The surrounds and view are equally beautiful.
