Another outstanding experience at The Hermitage. The chef Michael consistently turns out beautiful plates, perfectly cooked regardless of what you order. We sampled the special cinnamon bun baked in a skillet. It is indescribable - so delicious. While we split it between 4, we could have easily had another person share it with us - a generous portion. Eggs with fillet mignon or lobster crepes - just perfectly prepared. Skiers and those who are just relaxing in the area should make every effort to sample lunch, brunch and dinner. While special celebrations are in order in the grand, elegant dining room, brunch, lunch, early or late dinner are very cozy in the tavern bar. My family appreciates the variety of offerings when we gather and we appreciate the romantic atmostphere for just the two of us. The wine list is exceptional. The prices at The Hermitage are similar to much lesser restaurants locally. I would chose this location over any other in the valley for my personal style of eating - fresh, simple, ample, local in a beautiful location. Thank you!

This is the second time that my family and I have eaten at Granita Enoteca. My daughter and I were so impressed with our first visit that we returned a week later with my wife and mother-in-law to have them try the restaurant. We were all blown away by the quality of the food, the great service, and the comfortable vibe. Some restaurants can produce a great evening but being able to repeat greatness is truly special. If you enjoy Italian food, this is the place to go in New Hampshire.

What a beautiful space with incredible food. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening. He had the estate greens salad and the pappardelle. He raved about both and is trying to figure out how to replicate them at home in Pittsburgh. I had the citrus salad and the roasted duck. Both were fabulous! Our server Theresa was so thoughtful and attentive. We will be back!

Meal was amazing, love the space and service was top notch. But most importantly, Kaycie is the best.

The ambiance was lovely - great space! I enjoyed my seafood pie, but I felt there was too much mashed potato in proportion to the amount of seafood in it. The arugula salad was terrific - plenty for two of us - as was the whipped feta with pears. My husband very much liked his meatloaf (it looked like a small portion of the meat to me, but he was fine with it). Our son really liked the scallops as well. There were five, which was generous, but the MP was $55, which is quite high for Brattleboro. We also weren't thrilled when our bill arrived and we found out that the sparkling water was $10, whereas our server only asked if we preferred filtered or sparkling water without mentioning the cost. We will gladly return, but knowing the cost in advance. The menu had some really good choices - the food was yummy and interesting without being dauntingly esoteric.
