El Left Bank es una auténtica brasserie de estilo parisino situado en el vibrante Santana Row de San José. Abierto en el 2003, Left Bank transporta a sus visitantes a una brasserie pintoresca en París, donde los comensales son deleitados con la cocina clásica francesa en un ambiente encantador de brasserie a lo largo del boulevard. We came in for a post memorial service family brunch. We were promptly seated at our reservation time. Our server was friendly and responsive. We lingered for a while and never felt rushed. We appreciated being able to visit with each other and enjoy the atmosphere. Thank you

Excellent food, but the fire alarms (yes, multiple times) were really annoying. So the noise level was through the roof. Then the waiter was slow to come back and offer a doggy bag, as well as with the check.

The food was low quality and made me feel ill for the remainder of the evening. The staff was nice and the ambience was okay, but I would not dine here again by choice. We had the escargot, mussels frites, and the roast chicken.

We chose to sit outside and it was great people watching. The service was amazing and there was always staff outside. The crème brûlée was good. Tuna tartar was season nicely and the bread was perfect.

The food was delicious, especially the escargot! We were just disappointed with the ambiance. We were seated in the back in what seemed like an annex more than part of the restaurant. When we were being led to our table, we were walked through the restaurant, which had a lovely and romantic vibe, but were seated in the back. The small room we were in felt crowded with tables, the lights were too bright, and it was so quiet with no music that we and other tables had to talk at almost a whisper to avoid being too loud with the others. It was disappointing, as the food was really wonderful, but the atmosphere was lacking.

I took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day. The food was okay, nothing very exciting. The reason for the lower review was the ambiance. We had a reservation and we were placed at a tiny table right between two other tiny tables with couples also on a date. The table cloth on our table and our neighbors had a few stains. It felt like they were a part of our table they were so close. It took a really long time before we were served or offered water. I was provided the in correct meal. I ordered a steak frites and was served a filet mignon. I mentioned the mistake which the restaurant was quick to fix but I feel like at a nicer establishment like this, at least the manager should have stopped by and said something. The restaurant seemed understaffed since our server was running around like crazy. I feel like the price was not worth the value, and the close tables with dirty table clothes ruined the ambiance.

The entire team was very welcoming and attentive first of all. The ambience was classy of your inside and nice outside. Food was delicious and liked the different options. Overall it was a great experience.
