There’s something about a nice juicy burger that makes it the perfect craveable dish — maybe because it’s a handheld meal that’s ideal for curing ailments like extreme hunger and hangovers. With so many combinations from meat to cheese to toppings and style of bun, no two burgers are the same — and nor should they be. Fortunately, in the Magic City there’s no shortage of delicious, mouthwatering burgers to sink your teeth into. From secret sauces to secret locations there’s always a new burger to discover.

Here are nine Miami burgers to put on your to-do list immediately.

Acerca del restaurante

Wynwood’s Dutch hotspot may be known for its fried chicken, but the burger is one not to be missed. The Royale with cheese (cue Pulp Fiction quotes) is made with two 3-ounce, dry-aged brisket patties, cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles, and secret sauce. Pro tip: during happy hour and every Tuesday from open to close, snag this burger with a side of fries for just $10. The Royale with cheese is the right size to make you satisfied without feeling like you overdid it.

Acerca del restaurante

Blue Collar is a comfort food staple with menu items like chicken parm, saucy brisket with seasonal veggies, and larger than life slices of homemade cakes. And no comfort food-filled menu is complete without a killer burger. At Blue Collar, the real juicy cheeseburger seems simple and straight to the point, but it’s served on a Portuguese muffin making it a bit more fun. Piled on top of the New York strip steak burger blend is cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion.

Acerca del restaurante

Once upon a time, Derrick Turton was Grammy-winner Pitbull’s manager, but he left the world of music to pursue his passion for cooking. It worked: House of Mac started as a food truck back in 2014 and now has multiple brick & mortar locations. This restaurant is known for its mac and cheese-obsessed menu, which extends to the burger. It’s named after Turton’s father, Keith, and topped with mac and cheese, turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo on a toasted and buttered kaiser roll.
