(For those accustomed to our old location: We are now focusing more on cocktails and the rum experience in a smaller space, with fewer offerings of food. The food is still very yummy! Our dream is to be all about our RUM so we have moved into a lovely, smaller bar. We know this may be a hard adjustment for some of our guests but it is a really wonderful transition for us. Almost all of our employees are now full-time with benefits and working in their chosen career. We LOVE it and hope you will too!)

La decoración esta simple, pero de acuerdo al ambiente y lugar. El servicio: MALO! La chica que me atendió simplemente no tiene vocación. Entiendo que todos tenemos nuestros días, pero al final creo que la chica es así, pues la chica que termino atendiéndome al escuchar mi queja, me dejo entre ver que no es la primera queja que tienen sobre la otra chica. Le dije a esta última que la otra chica debía de agradecerle a ella el que yo dejara propina. En concluido, le doy 4 estrellas pues para el lugar, ambiente y precio, la comida podría tener más sabor.

Café Degas fue llamado así en honor a un impresionista francés del siglo XIX, Hilaire Germain Edgar Degas, que visitó Nueva Orleans en 1872 y vivió durante un corto tiempo en 2306 Esplanade Avenue, la calle donde está ubicado el restaurante. El artista y restaurador francés Jacques Soulas llegó a Nueva Orleans en 1980 y, junto a su amigo Jerry Edgar, decidió construir un restaurante que recordara su tierra natal y donde los comensales pudieran disfrutar del ambiente típico del bistro francés (con un toque de Nueva Orleans), buena comida y una excelente carta de vinos. Fui con mi esposa a nuestra cena de aniversario, el lugar no estaba muy lleno cuando llegamos y nos ubicaron en una mesa cerca de la registradora un poco incómoda, después de 15min pedimos q nos cambiarán a otra mas comoda.. El servicio estuvo regular, nos atendió un señor con supuesto acento italiano y cola de caballo, un poco distraido ya que cuando nos trajo el primer apetizer le pedimos pan y se le olvido, al final de la cena pedimos la carta de postre y nos la dejo en la mesa y se fue a conversar con otras personas a otra mesa Como por mas de 25min hasta que me pedimos a otro mesero que nos trajera la cuenta.. En general estuvo bastante bien, solo tienen q prestar más atención al servicio.. No venden alcohol 😥😥😥I went with my wife to our anniversary dinner, the place was not very busy when we arrived and we were placed at a table near the cash register a bit uncomfortable, after 15min we asked to be moved to another more comfortable .. The service was average, We attended a gentleman with a supposed Italian accent and ponytail, a bit distracted since when he brought us the first apetizer we asked for bread and he forgot, at the end of the dinner we ordered the dessert menu and left it at the table and Went to talk with other people to another table As for more than 25 minutes until I asked another waiter to bring the bill .. Overall was pretty good, they just have to pay more attention to service .. Do not sell alcohol 😥😥

Kachka features an award-winning menu of post-soviet inspired dishes including famous dishes such as the Herring under a fur coat, Rabbit in a clay pot, dumplings and much more. The restaurant is an homage to the dishes our chef/owner grew up eating. Kachka is open for indoor onsite dining. Walk-in lounge and bar seating are also available.

Our Lavka grocery is open from 11am-9pm daily with counter service ordering from our Lavka cafe and deli available from 11-3. Seating is first come first serve on our upper patio or indoor lounge tables.

Tommy, que se estrena como restaurador, está al timón del popular salón The Ritz, votado como uno de los mejores bares/salones de Nueva York por las revistas Village Voice y Get Out Magazine. El lugar es muy agradable, muy bien decorado y tranquilo. La comida nos gustó aunque la ensalada tenia poco aderezo y la lasagna había demasiado queso ricota y poca bolognesa y estaba un poco fría al llegar a la mesa. El vino muy bueno y resaltar sobretodo el servicio y amabilidad y simpatia de los camareros.
