Massive wooden door, old bricks and rustic beams of Harrisonburg’s old City Produce Exchange building, the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience at The LOCAL Chop & Grill House. Our menu features fresh, hand-selected, LOCAL and seasonal foods prepared with a progressive flair.

    Was a bit disappointed in duck breast not being on the menu. Desserts were disappointing as well. Filet was delicious.

    Brought some friends who had not even heard of the Chop House. We had a wonderful evening!

    While most of our visits to the Local Chop & Grill House have been great in all aspects, this visit it took about 40-45 minutes for our food to arrive, even though tables around us were being served. We did not order anything complicated. Otherwise, it was very nice and the food is good.

    By far the perfect experience for a date of any sort!! It was quite beautiful and elegant! The food was delicious and exceeded expectations! The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful experience!

    Appetizers tasty Steaks not cooked as we requested Waited extremely long time for glass of wine during our dinner. Server polite and friendly. Hostesses very nice, too Price for value of product not what I would expect from a steakhouse of this caliber.

    Thaddueus was an amazing server. All his recommendations were well made. Special occasion for us and will be back when in the area. So so good.

    Excellent service and an absolutely delicious meal! Highly recommend. They have a ramp for those who need it. Quiet and nice ambiance.
