    This was our first visit to Marjan and it was a very pleasant experience. It was Valentine’s Day- always a busy day for every restaurant, but Marjan handled the volume well, including takeout orders. It’s a small place and it can get noisy when all tables are full. But I was pleased to find that Marjan had the 2 person tables on one side and the larger groups on the other side of the restaurant. I had the beef kebab and the meat was very tender. My husband raved about his vegetarian selections and his milkshake. We both definitely want to return soon.

    Four of us dined at Marjan and everything was enjoyed very much. Starters: hummus and Dolmas. Entrees: lamb shank!, salmon!, mixed kabobs! Delicious!! The baclava was ‘different’ but good. Staff attentive and kind. Thank you all.

    The service was above and beyond.,We were unfamiliar with Persian cuisine and our server was very helpful in explaining the dishes. My friend was curious about one of their stews made with walnuts and pomegranate. Our server brought a sample for the table for us to try. It was exceptional. The flavors were new to me but good. My only disappointment was the baclava. If you are not just looking for good food but an experience this is the place

    Understated location conceals a culinary gem! Excellent and authentic Persian cuisine, friendly atmosphere and great service! Chicken Kabobs are superb!
