The name, Menotomy, pays homage to the Menotomy Indians and the Menotomy Village originally
Settled in 1635. The village was incorporated as the town of Arlington in 1867 following the civil
war as a tribute to Arlington National Cemetery.

Our vision for Menotomy Grill & Tavern is to bring the tavern concept back to the town of Arlington by creating a rustic grill capitalizing on the coziness of a brick house featuring fireplace, open kitchen,
exposed beams, large planked hard wood floors, and historical artifacts and photos. Fostering a
loyal following will be the key to our success, so we welcome you to join us on Facebook for news, special offers and exciting events.

                                                                                      I had my birthday brunch/lunch here, and it was great! The food was delicious (eggs benedict!), and most importantly, our server (Alex) was amazing! She was just wonderful. She is the BEST!

                                                                                      We had a reservation and were sat right away. We had a show to get to so we let our server know ahead of time. We quickly ordered drinks and then placed our food order when our drinks arrived. 25 minutes later (after the table that was sat after us received their apps) we still had no food. Our server came over and told us there was a mix up in tickets and the food would be out shortly. Most of the food arrived another 10 minutes later but we were still waiting on one more appetizer. Our server then came over to drop off the check, no apology. We normally wouldn’t make a big deal but we had a show to be at and were less than impressed with how everything was dealt with. We asked to speak to the manager, she was very nice and helpful. She apologized multiple times and comped some of our bill.

                                                                                      The house was vibrant and the energy was inviting. The lighting was so low that we had to use our phone flashlights for enough light to see the menu. Our server was attentive, but not really helpful with the menu choices. The food was acceptable, but nothing special. The entrees arrived before we finished our appetizers - always a pet peeve of mine. Not sure we will be back any time soon.

                                                                                      The Menotomy Grill has a wonderful, warm, even cozy atmosphere that makes dining there a real pleasure. The staff are all very friendly and accomodating. We all enjoyed each of our dishes. The shrimp poblano fritters were delicious, the PEI mussels were fresh and savory, the cioppino was a great blend of seafood flavors, the salmon was gone just right and the fish and chips were perfect. This was our second visit, and we are looking forward to coming back.
