Merrick Inn, construido antes de la Guerra Civil, fue remodelado totalmente por la familia Cal Milam en 1936, y sirvió como casa de campo para uno de los mejores ranchos de caballos de Lexington.     A great experience. The whole evening was Wonderful. The food was cook perfectly. The staff was professional and friendly. Carmen our waitress was absolutely delightful. Gave great advice on the food and really made us feel welcome. My family will be back.

    Everything was fantastic! Wish the filet would’ve been cooked closer to medium, but the overall atmosphere and service was great.

    Usually Merrick Inn is exceptional in every way, yet this meal was “off”. My husband’s lobster bisque was inedible, only thing one could taste was salt. He also ordered the Halibut special. It too was over salted, a sign of a lazy chef. My meal, prime rib was delicious. We will go back but Merrick Inn will unlikely be our first pick of restaurants in Lexington. Last evening’s meal was not as usually expected. I did inform the manager on duty who was receptive but unwavering to make good on our meal. He offered no incentive for our return.

    I went here for my sister in laws birthday dinner and it was a wonderful experience. Our server was very attentive and kind. The restaurant already knew it was my sister in laws birthday because of the note I put on OpenTable when I booked it and brought her a free dessert. Our food was absolutely delicious. I had their fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and they were to die for. I had their halibut for an entree and it was the best I’ve had. Such an overall great experience.
