   Michaels is a fantastic experience which is so reminiscent of the early days in Las Vegas. The restaurant is the only dining establishment in the state of Nevada that still has ‘Captains’ has captains. The employees are long term members of South Point, they remain with Michael the owner due to the employment opportunity that he creates and the way he treats every member of his staff. Yes the restaurant is expensive, but if you’re looking for an over the top gourmet experience Michaels restaurant is by far the best Las Vegas has to offer.

   First time at Michael's. Outstanding!!! Southpoint is a great place to go. Many good restaurants, but Michaels is truly excellent!!

   They need a new recipe for their Coquille St. Jacques. It was tasteless. The petit filet mignon was only okay. I commented that the steak we have at home was better than that, and my partner agreed. Everything else was wonderful, especially the service.

   Michael’s is old style Vegas at its best. The food was outstanding and the service was reminiscent of the New York restaurant scene of the 70’s; the attention to detail was exceptional. From the crudite, to the Splash of Dom on the lemon sorbet palette cleanser, to the tableside presentation, everything was timed and choreographed to perfection. And we can’t say enough great things about our waiter, Vin, who was a true showman and entertainer. My wife pointed out that not only did he time out the entire meal with precision, but he was attentive enough to ensure that at no time did anyone interrupt the flow of conversation at the table. A perfect evening all around. And one final note; with so many fine dining establishments taking themselves so seriously lately, Vin had a wonderful sense of humor and made the evening fun and light, the way fine dining should be.

   Over the top great dinning experience. Plane was late coming in from Dallas and they were very accommodating. Older gentleman can over and gave us a little history of the restaurant. Will definitely be back

   We were looking for an upscale restaurant and went to Michael’s for our anniversary. The experience left us feeling like royalty. Table side service is a lost art, but Michael’s embraces it. Amazing food, impeccable service. One of our new favorite restaurants.
