   Milton’s is a vibe. And a great one. From the valet team that greets you with a smile to the hostess station where two lovely young ladies welcomed us with sincerity - the first few moments were just so fun. We brought a couple for whom it was their first experience and they were beyond thrilled. We were celebrating the retirement of our friend Bob, and everyone treated him perfectly. Our server Gabby seems like a season pro and we found out she is brand new. She’s amazing! The Manager, Danielle, has it all together. She has a big beautiful smile and an attentive eye on her staff and the guests and all the details. Milton’s is truly a treasure all wrapped up in the greatest pre-civil war home. We dine out with friends every weekend from northern suburbs to Buckhead to Kirkwood to downtown and every place in between and this is truly special. Thank you Gabby and Danielle.    Generous, delicious portions. Pleasant service. They’ve been getting it right for many years. Valet parking can get a little frustrating.

   This restaurant is located within a 10-minute drive of downtown Alpharetta. Parking was valet only, but was quick. The building appears to be a converted farmhouse with one or two extension buildings for added dining. They also appeared to have a lot of covered-patio dining as well. The interior has a sort of polished-yet-country vibe - wood as wall treatment, lots of black and white photos of farm animals and equipment, etc. It definitely felt upscale. The vibe / patrons seemed to lean more towards families or group gatherings. So, you might be less likely to propose to someone here, but more likely to have a rehearsal dinner here (there appeared to be one starting up as we were finishing). Our server was prompt at stopping by. He came by regularly but was never intrusive. Menu had some variety and we had no trouble in finding dishes we liked. I was glad that they even had a pasta option. Bread is not complimentary, so we got that. They give you a large portion. We also split a salad, which was seasonal and tasted fresh; it included dried peas and small chunks of watermelon. We both liked it. My wife opted for the trout and I got a pasta. We also split a side (mashed potatoes) which was good. I finished my pasta, which just means that it was reasonably portioned and not huge. The wine list had a lot of types but not a lot of choices within any given type. Prices were definitely in the fine dining range, but about what you'd expect given the venue. If I lived closer, I'd likely return here for a special occasion.

   Food was absolutely amazing and we will be back to try more of the menu. Waiter may have been new? He did fine but felt like we kept having to get his attention.

   It's been several years since I've eaten at Milton's and was expecting to be rather underwhelmed once again. Wrong! Our table was excellent... on the covered outdoor porch at the rear, food was very good, and service highly attentive. Add to that the convenience of valet parking and it made for a perfect evening with friends. We look forward to returning soon.

   We had a wonderful family dinner here after our son’s graduation. Friendly and helpful staff who made great recommendations on drinks, apps and entrees. We were encouraged to try the Mac n cheese and greens as sides and both were winners. Delicious modern Southern cuisine. Beautiful and delectable cocktails.

    We sat outside, which was lovely, but there was live music, which was much too loud and prevented us from having any conversation. The food was okay, but under-seasonal and our server disappeared for more than 30 minutes!! Overall, a rather disappointing dining experience.
