Established in 1891, Kikusuiro is located right in front of the Torii gateway of Kasuga Shrine. For more than a century, it has welcomed many V.I.P guests from not only Japan but all over the world.Eel is a popular traditional Japanese food. There is a habit of eating eel after visiting shrines in many places, such as Narita-mountain Shinsho temple, Atsuta shrine and Mishima temple.
