I had the Sunday lunch and opted for the double roast. The pork and the beef were cooked well as was the vegetables. I don't like the idea of having to pay extra for the cauliflower cheese when the meal was £22 already. I think it could have been served on hotter plates as is was going cold before I'd finished. However it was a very tasty meal with good service and atmosphere.

Terrific food. Good Variety of dishes and options. Was in an outdoor pod which was cosy and warm and with dogs allowed. Worth a lovely treat, but a rare one as on the expensive side, although we did over order a little! Might have been nice to have some light background music in the pod.

Service was great, food was great, atmosphere in the well room was very romantic which fitted the occasion.

Had a fantastic lunch today! Upon booking I requested a warm comfortable table for my 90 year old friend & we were greeted with a lovely reserved table by the fire & a cushion was provided for my elderly friend! Food was fantastic & very good value on the lunchtime offer! Service was impeccable! Thank you so much to all! My elderly friend had a wonderful time! 🙏🥰 We shall return soon! x
