Our second visit within the last month, and this time in the Dining room with direct view of the kitchen - a great improvement on the previous setting. Again we shared the slow cooked shoulder of lamb , this is going to become our favourite dish.

Nice location and ambience, it got a bit busier and noisier when more people came in. Food was very nice. A bit disappointing that several of the mains did not come with potatoes and the only choice of sides was chips or mac n cheese; mash or roast potatoes would have gone better with our choices of mains

Another great meal at The Royal Oak. We have yet to be disappointed when visiting The Oak enjoying good food, great service and good value for money

Really good dining experience. Excellent vegetarian options and gorgeous speciality pies on offer. Lovely warm atmosphere in this quintessential English pub. We will be going back soon! Many thy.

Lovely, friendly pub on the river, with great food and service. Suited our party of 6 adults and 2 toddlers perfectly. Will come again.
