Our usual spot before the Symphony. Food is great, reasonably priced and service is friendly.

I made breakfast plans with a dear friend. The service was exceptional. Our server Maddie was very attentive, not too over-bearing, and was managing multiple tables at once. Her knowledge and bright energy was a warm welcome. The food was divine, however the wait for it to appear on our table took a little longer than anticipated. Would recommend this spot if you’re going to see a play, concert or movie at the Bell TIFF Lightbox.

Time to change the menu - please!!! We know you’re trying to serve the theatre and RTH and other event attendees - but we’d like some variety please - it’s time!

Canteen is a great spot with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. The staff is not only friendly but also very knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the best dishes or drinks. They make you feel comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish. The food is also good!

The main drawback was the limited number of vegetarian meals, especially hot entrees. Although the menu said the curry could be made vegetarian when I asked about it I was told that it was not possible. If that is the case the menu is misleading and another vegetarian hot entree should be added to the menu.

Fish and Chips were very good!! My husband loved the burger also! Food was a bit pricey but delicious!

Excellent customer service. Five star service. We were greeted warmly. Offered drink service immediately upon being seated. We were informed of the specials and our order was taken promptly. Sadly, upon receiving our dinner it was lukewarm and missing the promised salad. The server and manager looked after this with great apologies our salads were delivered and new mains were brought, piping hot this time. We were pleasantly surprised upon receiving the bill to find a discount offered . An unfortunate glitch occurred and was rectified and compensated for in a professional and kindly manner.
