Chef Angelo Romano’s Paradiso restaurant exemplifies excellence. I initially felt a sense of hospitality on the phone when making a reservation; that hospitality was reinforced throughout the evening by the genuine warmth and confidence of the chef and staff. They are on top of their game and it shows.
The menu is a superlative exploration of the chef's Italian Riviera background. It relies heavily on locally caught seafood and light (almost simplistic) compositions that skillfully accent the flavors of the high quality ingredients…
Paradiso absolutely earned its stars. Not because of the meticulously clean and organized restaurant, nor the expert service, or even the amazing food and drink.
It is because all these aspects meshed together seamlessly, effortlessly and impeccably. Whereas some restaurants try to impress, Paradiso is simply impressive

    The host station seemed very disorganized. Seated at 7:40 for our 7 o’clock reservation Dining room staff very polite and efficient

    We always have amazing food but this time it was Luke warm. They were over crowded so getting our server was difficult. We were never offered desert and had to wait forever for our check.

    Paradiso is an “Old World” Italian restaurant with excellent food and service. From the moment we sat down and were presented with the best olive assortment, oil and bread we’ve had in awhile, everything that followed was beautifully prepared, fresh and plentiful. Hardy martinis, sweet mussels with plenty of broth to dip that bread in, creamy burrata, which improved as it became less cold, perfectly cooked Dover Sole and Yellowtail Snapper (which has been disappointing of late) that was moist and covered in a sauce that was as good as any I’ve ever had did not disappoint. Though full, we could not resist savoring a grand marnier soufflé accompanied by unexpected and delicious vanilla ice cream, as well as pistachio cake and ice cream. The little extras that seemed to appear on every plate added to a very special dinner. And….if you order before 6:00, all of the above, or any appetizer, entree and dessert on the menu, can be had for $78.00 per person. Bravo Paradiso!
