We get our name from John Gahan, a prominent merchant and importer of wines, teas, and groceries on Prince Edward Island in the 19th century. His former place of residence is now the location of the original Gahan House in Charlottetown, P.E. To share our award-winning ales with more of Atlantic Canada, we opened our doors and our taps in Halifax, N.S., Fredericton, Saint John, and Moncton, N.BWe began as a brewpub, and we stay true to our beginnings by having a brew system in-house, ensuring that the beer we serve is as fresh as possible.     Excellent service, clean modern surroundings . We enjoyed the wings and nachos with chicken……a little more cheese on the nachos would be better. Overall a great place to go before going to an event at ScotiaBank Center.

    Absolutely delicious! I started with some Nova Scotia bubbles and had Crab Rangoon as an appetizer. Then followed up with the mac and cheese - which was outrageous...this simple dish is truly magnificent and I brought home an order of the spectacular dry ribs for my husband who demolished them in 10 mins flat. Said they were the best he's ever had - full of meat and lots of flavor. The atmosphere here is gorgeous, even on a stormy night. The live music was amazing - something for everyone. Cannot recommend enough and will be back soon. Thank you
