La legendaria historia del Diorio Restaurant dio comienzo a principios de la década de 1920. El fallecido Rocco Diorio fue el responsable de la comida tradicional de primera calidad y de muchos recuerdos inolvidables para la mayoría de las personas del área metropolitana de Waterbury. Este restaurante cerró en 1980 y fue vuelto a inaugurar en 1991 tras una restauración completa que le devolvió su esplendor original. Este establecimiento conserva la barra de mármol original, las mesas de caoba tipo cabina de gran tamaño, los techos de hojalata y los impresionantes espejos grabados al ácido con imágenes de la histórica Waterbury. También alberga un salón comedor privado para eventos particulares o corporativos.
