Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. The ambiance is beautiful we loved the vibe and the music. The servers were nice however our drinks were empty a lot of times and we had to track down a server.

Our drinks took a while and came to the table in 3 trip each one with a 2-3 minute wait between. Our meal felt very rushed, the plates for the mains were being set while we were eating our appetizers, a little patience from the server while we were enjoying our food would have been appreciated.

We went during happy hour and the prices were right and the food was fantastic. I had the cod tacos, which were incredible along with a very yummy margarita. It was the perfect place to have a bite to eat before seeing a concert at the Opera House.
