Horseshoe Grill in North Reading has been family-owned since the 1920s when it was originally a supper club for members only. That changed in 1957 and, since then, patrons have come from all over to sample the famous ribs that have made Horseshoe Grill an institution. The relaxing atmosphere inside makes it the perfect place to get to work on a rack of ribs, lobster Rangoon, Thai chili calamari or nachos.     We had an awesome experience at Post 1917. The atmosphere is fantastic. Really cool building and decor. Had some live music for a bit with a very talented guitarist/singer. Surprisingly, it wasn’t too loud even with the musician. The food was incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our server did a great job and always kept up with us. Strongly recommend the wagyu dumplings app and the snickerdoodle butter cake dessert. We can’t wait to come back! You won’t regret coming to this local steakhouse.

    Tavern on High is my family’s favorite restaurant. Amazing food and impeccable service. All the staff are incredibly friendly and always great when we sit at a table or at the bar. Kelly, Brendan, Amanda, Brooke, and everyone else are superstars.

    The food was excellent! I got the honey salmon with jasmine rice. The ther person got the Mac and cheese! We had a birthday party there and brought my own cake which they brought out at the end. Very happy with the service and food! Would recommend highly!

    Our table for 6 was ready on time even though the place was very busy on a Friday night. The food and drinks were both awesome. Maggie our server was terrific as she was friendly attentive and very hard working. Thank you! Jeff S
