Carlton Wine Room is a neighbourhood restaurant offering a well-executed, fresh, seasonal food menu, and an ever changing, diverse wine list featuring the best of Italy, Australia and the rest of the World. We offer a bar space, an upstairs restaurant dining room and three unique spaces that are can be booked for private dining perfect for special events.RESERVATIONS: are for a two hour sitting. We do not accept bookings for drinks and snacks, however we accept walk-ins for this if space permits. A surcharge of up to 1.2% applies to credit card transactions. A surcharge of 10% applies on Sundays and 15% on Public Holidays. OUTSIDE SEATING: please note this is subject to the weather and we may not be able to move your reservation inside in the case of bad weather.     We had such a great meal here. It is a beautiful setting on the beach and the food was so good. We were there for a special occasion and tried a lot of the menu and every dish was delicious and presented so well- simple but beautiful. The pipi’s pasta, a fig and stracciatella entree and the steak were standouts.

    Olivine has transformed Pentridge into a stunning cocktail bar. The design of the space is impressive, and it’s not the only thing that's exquisite here - the food and cocktails are delicate and bursting with flavour, while the staff is consistently attentive. This is definitely a place worth becoming a regular customer.

    It was a lovely gesture offering delicious focaccia and a desert complimentary. However as lovely as this was charging $59 for a Porterhouse steak with no sides ( just few chips) is way too pricey. The cut of meat was very chewy with plenty of veiny fatty bits.
