The Duke of Cleveland is situated on the Headland in Hartlepool, just a short distance from the coast and next to St Hilda's Church. It is a listed building and the oldest one still in use in the town. Our establishment is a restaurant and pub with an excellent reputation for serving traditional homemade British dishes. From the minute we walked in, the head waiter and all table staff were excellent at making sure our every need was met. The food was top notch And everybody in our party loved their chosen meals. Perfect!!! This restaurant consistently offers a wonderful dining experience , always superb x

Staff were lovely and helpful. Place is fantastic for pre drinking before a night out or hanging around with mates. In my opinion, a bit too noisy for a date on the weekends. Vibe was amazing and the staff went above and beyond. Food is amazing but the drinks are a bit on the pricey side. Would recommend 10/10

We went for Sunday lunch and it was really nice The atmosphere is relaxed Service was seamless Table was reserved and ready for our arrival Food menu was clear and easy to navigate There was plenty of food on the plate and then vegetables and extra Yorkshire puddings and gravy stuffed! Not even room for dessert although they had varied choices
