Para entrar al salón hay que subir un angosto tramo de escaleras desde la calle de ladrillos rojos. La sala es amplia y abierta y a la vez está llena de recovecos. A un lado está revestida por una pared de ventanas, y al otro tiene una magnífica barra de zinc acanalado. Esto hace de contrapunto a la belleza íntima de proporciones perfectas de su pequeño establecimiento asociado de la planta baja. El French Saloon se inspira en la decadencia y la familiaridad de los bares y bistros de París, abarcando de finales del siglo XIX a principios del siglo XX, y encuentra afinidad en el disfrute de una compañía estridente y una sensación de travesura.     We enjoyed a light meal: the consommé & the cauliflower. The soup was perfect; the maitre d' explained the head chef spends days to perfect the sheen on its surface. The cauliflower reminded me of Sunday roasts from childhood, with its warm cheesy goodness. The wine list is extensive, and they also have local ciders from the Yarra Valley.

    The bar was pre set very high compared to other established fine dining venues and we were so not disappointed. from the minute we arrived the experience was just inspiring and amazing. can not wait to return. congratulations to the whole team, it was like dining amongst a sympathy orchestra!

    Amazing and attentive service at Danté. My party and I loved the atmosphere there and felt welcome from the moment we walked in until we left. The table service was impeccable and our waiter and bartender were extremely friendly the entire time (forgive me I forgot their names but they know who they were) Highly recommend this place for others. Super worth the price and the dishes were phenomenal. Drinks are on another level. Will be back for sure!
