Originally built in 1518, the building was the very first Guildhall in Windsor which was the meeting place for the Trinity Guild (the town traders) which since the 13th Century has provided the governing body for the town until it was turned into an inn & public house in 1689. There has been a pub on this site for almost 500 years and is one of the oldest establishments in the town, only a few of which are still standing.Located on Market Street, The Prince Harry is only 50 metres from Windsor Castle. We are proud of our part in Windsor history and continue to provide a traditional pub environment amongst the cobbles of the old town next to the historic Guildhall.Our menu includes traditional British favourites and all food is freshly cooked on-site, served from 12pm, to 5pm.We serve a fine Sunday roast until 6pm and we advise booking a table so that you can enjoy our traditional hospitality.     What I love about The Loch and The Tyne isn’t just the great food which is always outstanding, is the staff! The staff are always so welcoming, friendly, happy and just seem happy to serve you and whether they are or not, make you feel like they love their job. Lovely place, lovely setting, lovely ambiance. 5 stars all the way

    Gilbey's is the perfect place to stay and eat on a trip to Eton and/or Windsor. Comfortable, quiet, and spacious accommodation; lovely restaurant with delicious, inventive, and reasonably priced food; and courteous and helpful service.

    What a great find! We booked after not receiving a response for a table from the Mango Lounge and we’re glad we did. The venue and decor are first rate - very tastefully done. the service was professional and friendly (thank you Ibrahim and Rizwan for making our evening a special one). The food is possibly as good as any high-end Indian restaurant that we’ve eaten in around the world. We had the Lamb Shank on the recommendation of Ibrahim; it was superb. My wife had the Baghdad Baingan (egg plant) which was also out of this world. We will definitely be back asap.
