The menu would win over any Sydney local and comes packed with wood-fired pizza, calzones, pasta, risotto and hearty meat mains. The food lived up to the name, which is no mean feat, especially in this part of Sydney. I had the gnocchi Sorrentina, which is quite good (with a balanced red sauce with delicious mozzarella); the freshly stone baked garlic bread (which was firm and made of good quality dough), and the panna cotta (which had a real cooked cream texture and taste). Very yum. I’ll be back!

The staff at Karoo are excellent. Once again we had a delicious meal. Their Salt & Pepper Squid with Garlic Aioli as an entree was perfect and the Cuban Pizza was delicious. Pancetta, Prawns and Pineapple. Interesting combination, but always delicious.
