Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe. We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that! Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation. All the staff is wonderful. Francisco has been our waiter many times. He is wonderful & very attentive. The owner Clyde, does not cut corners. Most of hid food is made by scratch & is premium as well as his accommodations. I would highly recommend this Restaurant. If there was 10 stars to give, I would give 20 stars.

The service was impeccable; upon entering throughout the meal. All of whom were 25 or younger but had the experience of service excellence that you would expect from Michelin tiered restaurants. Totally will come again at least once a quarter if not more. So many types of fondue that we can’t wait to try. Again, the food was excellent but the service was so on point that this review deserves more stars than available to giveaways 🤙🤙🤙

Very nice meal, they weren't too busy. Food came out perfectly cooked (had the filet, medium and shrimp dish). The French Onion soup was phenomenal! Really, really delicious. I definitely will go again, just for the soup!
