Modern Australian Restaurant and Cafe sourcing produce from small, local farms to highlight some exciting Queensland produce, menu driven by ex-Tasmanian chef, Darryl Zeitzen who previously was only able to be booked privately for bespoke events around Queensland. With a quiet and peaceful Alfresco area, Good Grace is a a true escape and nice place to relax. Organically sourced coffee and with quality produce and sustainability at the forefront of the restaurant offering. Good Grace also has a large courtyard/beer garden and function space for up to 100 guests at the rear of the restaurant. With a more casual vibe, the space can be hired our for groups of 30-100 people, as well as having diners visit Wednesday to Sunday evenings, with different events happening throughout the year. Air conditioned and heated in the winter - fully undercover.

August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Wednesday - Saturday, and from 12pm for Sunday Lunch.     Repeat visit and elected to sit inside. Great art on display. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was tasty and well presented. Thoroughly recommend an upmarket cafe with diverse menu, situated in lovely bamboo garden surrounded by classy plant nursery. Not cheap but well worth the money.

    Celebrated my son's 21st Birthday with a set menu for 10 ordering the Wagyu rump drop. Amazing food, value, service and ambience. Staff were excellent - caring, considerate and attentive and made it a successful and joyous event. Venue was gorgeous, classy and felt like a high class resort. Thank you very much to Black Hide - looking forward to dining there again.

    Our lunch party of 12 ladies for a birthday celebration all enjoyed their mains, after sharing a delicious haloumi and foccacia with dips. Thank you for allowing me to bring the champagne! We sat outside on the terrace, which was perfect. Nice and quiet so we could chat in comfort. There was a varied choice of mains and salads to choose from. Would definitely recommend Good Grace
