August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Outstanding food in an unpretentious space. Don’t let the prices put you off. The meals are to share and for 4 people we shared 2 mains, but had 4 entrees and 6 oysters. The oysters were surprising - I don’t even like oysters, but these were magnificent. Seriously delicious food and great wines.
