El Freemasons at Wiswell sirve comida fabulosa en un entorno rural elegante y relajado. Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. We have visited several times, including twice in the last ten days. We had the taster menu last week, and every course was delicious. We had Sunday lunch yesterday, and, although the restaurant was incredibly busy, the food was as outstanding as ever - my ox cheek suet pudding was superb! - and the service was impeccable. The young waiters / waitresses were efficient, attentive and friendly - well done! Everybody at The Rum Fox is to be congratulated on what they have achieved, and we look forward to many future vivits.

Great place, staff attentive and friendly. Very classy decor. Food was to a very high standard, though I do think charging an extra £7 to only receive 3 prawns on my curry was a bit excessive.

From the moment we were greeted, to the moment we left the staff were friendly, helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, the ambience was lovely and value for money was good. We will definitely be be back.
