Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. Local artwork hangs throughout the Tavern’s many rooms and a mural adorns a main wall, a nod to the eclectic and vibrant artistic community of Old Ellicott City. The result is a unique and memorable atmosphere unlike any other.Our Head Chef strives to use seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, including herbs and vegetables from our farm. Our distinctive menu is highlighted by a custom-built brick oven for neopolitan-style pizzas and more. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.We proudly serve beers from Manor Hill Brewing, Howard County’s first farm brewery. Manor Hill beers are hand-made on our farm using original and unique recipes. The result is aromatic, hop forward farmhouse style beers.

The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister that are Ellicott City locals. The menu includes seasonal scratch made items, sustainable meats & produce from local farms and purveyors.     This was our second time here. We returned because the service the first time was outstanding and we also enjoyed the food. This visit didn’t disappoint. I took the recommendation of our server, Gabe, for the Chilean Sea Bass. It was perfectly prepared and came with a sauce that was so good I wanted something to sop up the last bits with. I praised it so highly that the Chef came out to say hello. Grill 620 is one of our favorites.

    I’m still giving this restaurant 5 stars regardless of one issue. They had ran out of a few items on the already set menu to choose from in a 4 course meal that allowed different options for each course. The staff were great, the food was awesome and the environment was great to be able to have a nice dinner conversation. The alternate meal options to sub for what they ran out of was still delicious. They also offered a free dessert for my next visit due to running out. Thank you so much for a great experience!

    Our server was awesome. She was attentive and very nice. The home made soup was delicious! We had chili and cream of mushroom soup. The atmosphere was warm and the background live music excellent!

    Very good pup food. Excellent service. Will certainly go back. My wife is gluten intolerant and they have a separate menu and went out of their way to accommodate her.
