    We had a wonderful dining experience. It was our first time at Prime29 and we were celebrating a birthday. Many great choices - we wished we could do a sampler of every appetizer! We each had one of the nightly specials - Scallops and Halibut. Both were delicious. Steak next time for sure. Our waitress was great - very attentive and helpful on suggestions. We were surprised with a delicious piece of birthday cake and candle at the end of the dinner without even asking for anything. Exceeding our expectations.

    This would have been a lovely dinner but our server was not very attentive. We asked several times for lemon and were ignored. Finally, a bus boy brought it. Our salad arrived and we had just finished when the entree came; not very good pacing of the meal. Our ribeye had good flavor but was ordered medium and was more rare and also fatty. Mash potatos and mushrooms were delicious. We could not get a coffee refill from our server and he seemed to avoid us. One of the managers did stop by and saved the day. He apologized and gave us desserts on the house which were amazing. We asked to have a dessert packed to take and our waiter took it and didn't return. It was ice cream! Finally, the manager brought it out to us. He explained it was a Saturday night and busy but didn't use this to excuse our server's attitude. Not sure how soon I will return. There are many steak restaurants to choose from and this one charges your credit card on file and an automatic 20% gratuity. I'm happy to pay when the service is first rate, this was hardly the case.

    Waiter was great, food was excellent. Surprised that the lamb chops were $100. They were a special and perhaps we should’ve asked how much they were? Or maybe they should mention that the market price is $100 but it was significantly higher than all of the other items on the menu.

    Still in my opinion the best steak in the city! No need for extra sauces etc, very well prepared and delicious!

    My husband and I were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. We requested a booth in our reservation,we got one. The service was very methodical, we didn’t want for anything. The waitress never introduced herself, never acknowledged our anniversary, never chatted with us about anything, like I mentioned before it was so methodical. The manager came around and introduced himself and wished us a happy anniversary. He asked if the waitress was going to celebrate with us. She never said a word. Never got a complimentary dessert. Nothing. No acknowledgment at all. Thank you to the manager who acknowledged our special day.
