This was our first time dining at 56 Tavern. We dined there many times when it was called Six Horses Tavern. We were very impressed with the improvements made to the restaurant and the quality of our meals. Everything was delicious. My wife ordered salmon which was cooked medium as ordered and was excellent. I ordered a salad and onion soup. The onion soup was among the best I have tasted, and the salad was crisp, fresh and the portion was generous. We plan to visit again in the near future.

The food is fabulous! We had steak last week, and prime rib this week, they were both melt in your mouth with just the perfect amount of fat ❤️

This place has it all. The comfortable feeling of a neighborhood joint mixed with the rich feel of an old fashioned country club. Warm, welcoming with a touch of class. The staff is friendly, attentive and efficient. The food is DELICIOUS. The bar is also a star feelings exclusive and inviting at the same time. This is the place for your next outing.

This was our first time eating in the restaurant. We actually went to happy hour about a week ago and are we sat at the bar had some drinks and the prime rib sandwich which was really delicious. The restaurant overall was good. The food was great. the salmon was great, the guys loved the fish Nd chips. We did order cosmos. I had asked them to make it again, because there was definitely too much citrus but other than that everything was great. We had a good time and hope to come back again.
