Experience The Ballantyne’s take on classic teas offered in England’s finest tea houses with a Southern flair. Enjoy a variety of tea blends from Rare Tea Company, the official tea of the Royal Family.

Tea is served each Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-4:00pm. The cost is $49 for adults or $64 including a glass of champagne and $29 for children, ages 12 and under. (plus tax and gratuity).
Credit Card Number needed to book a reservation. There is a 48-hour cancellation penalty. Any No-Shows will be charged $50 each.

Share the "Luck of the Irish" with us on Sat & Sun, March 15th & 16 with a St. Patrick's Day themed High Tea experience at the Ballantyne Hotel! Reservations available from 1pm-4pm. Price is$70.00/Adult & $35.00/Child (12 year and under.) plus tax & 24% gratuity. Enjoy themed tea sandwiches, scones, pastries while sipping tea in a festively decorated environment. Adult tea will include a choice of either Champagne or Irish themed cocktail. Payment due at restaurant. There is a $50/person cancellation fee if cancelled after 48 hours of the reservation date.

This was such a wonderful experience for my coworkers and I. The ambiance and table decor was beautiful. Service was excellent as well. We were a little disappointed in the charge though. It was our understanding that what was listed on the menu is what was included in the $55. However, it seems as though the “featured drink” listed was an additional charge that we weren’t made aware of until we got our check. One coworker didn’t get the drink as she is participating in dry January but was still charged. We also expected a little more for the price. While the setup was beautiful 1 small serving of each item for $55 was a bit surprising. Overall, I paid $93.50 ( a 24% gratuity was automatically included) for this experience & while enjoyable, it definitely didn’t meet the $100 experience.

Enjoyed the 1920’s theme. The food offerings do not pair well with vegetarians/vegans. My reservation clearly said ‘no cheese’ .. every sandwich contained cream cheese.

It was just Ok! We were seated where every time the lobby door opened we felt it. It was an extremely cold day. There were many other open tables but they said we couldn’t be moved. Sandwiches were good. Desserts and tea were “ok”. Server was attentive.

This was a birthday tea for my daughter. I was a bit disappointed no one noted her bday even though I think I had it on the reservation. There were no signs indicating where to go so we started in the restaurant and eventually found our way to where the tea was served thanks to the helpful hostess in the restaurant. Tea service was good. Scones were the best I have ever had. The caramel chocolate bite was bitter. Wish there were more savory items and a bit less sweet. For two of us with tax before tip it was $131. A bit pricey but was fun for a special occasion. We will consider returning but would come more frequently if the price was less😉

Lovely holiday tea. Great mix of savory and sweet items were served. The holiday signature cocktail was also a delicious way to get started before the tea service arrived at our table! Hoping to make this an annual tradition!

Afternoon Tea was in the lobby which was being remodeled so crowded and loud. Tables were not reset after use so we ate high tea amidst a bunch of uncovered tables with no decor. Not enough staff so long wait time. Tea was good. I took my granddaughter but will look elsewhere next year

Brought my mom and teenage daughter to Christmas tea. We were early for our reservation, but they were able to seat us right away. Highly attentive staff, provided everything we needed and more when requested. Will definitely return for another themed tea!

It was a wonderful experience. As someone who is gluten free, I was so excited to be able to enjoy the tea and get delicious treats and sandwiches just like everyone else. Make sure to call ahead if you need gluten free. It was such a great time.

Seated 20 min later than reservation, near the cold front door. Food was terrible, and for $70 per/person to receive a tray off what appeared to be store bough t desserts is insulting. Also the featured drink on the menu appeared to be included but shocked it was not, then a 24% tip added to a sub-par experience was a nice finishing touch. Never again!
