When we arrived, there were several large parties already seated, so it was some time before a server came over to greet my group of four. There was a considerable delay between our order being placed and both the teas and food arriving. Our server, J., who appeared to be the only one one actually working, was doing the best she could to accommodate all the guests. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed my Queen Catherine tea. I tried the Parisian, and it was also tasty with the hint of carmel notes. Having experienced tea several times at the O Henry, it was my first time biting into a warm quiche---a pleasant surprise. Normally my favorite treat is the scone with clotted cream, but it was rather dry and cracked apart making it difficult to eat. The ham and brie croissant and macaroon were my favorites on this visit. My party had mixed reactions to the salmon crumpet and cucumber sandwiches. Having had to wait for so long to be greeted, I was a little disconcerted to be asked if I wanted the check while I still had items on my plate and tea in my cup. I assumed the server was simply trying to use her time wisely so as to move to the next table, but it made me feel rushed. Other than that, the server did a wonderful job, providing water as well as extra cream and tea when asked. Overall, my experience was not as pleasant as previous visits, but I will come again. I hope more servers are available on a Saturday afternoon to make for an enjoyable event.

Afternoon Tea at the O. Henry is an incredible bargain and the food is fantastic! Warm flaky, delicious scone, selection of teas, lovely savory and sweet items on your tea tier and all for the BEST price of anywhere that serves afternoon tea. Well worth a visit!

Love it here! Food and value are incredible! Normally I would give 5 stars, the only thing was that the manager/busboy was a bit demeaning to the wait staff in front of the guests from what we experienced today. He also stared at us basically the whole time and interrupted the waitress to take away our empty trays. The waitress was incredible and every time I go they always are. I don’t know the context around this, maybe it was a bad day and he was angry, but it made me slightly uncomfortable to be stared at and made me feel pity towards the waitresses.

What a fun birthday celebration for a dear friend! Four of us gathered at the O’Henry for tea and a little fun. The food and service were top notch. We never felt rushed and enjoyed a long visit as we enjoyed our tea delicious treats.

I had friends visiting from out of state and we heard about Tea at the O'Henry. The goodies were beautiful and delicious. The ambience was relaxing, and our service was exceptional. A great selection of hot teas. We would definitely go back.

This is a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. The tea and food are delicious. Taking into consideration food allergies is a plus. We were surprised with cake for our birthdays which was very special.
