Our design concept is 'Water". Water brings relaxation to our minds, restoration to our bodies, and enjoyment in our lives. The wave like curve of our roofline draws you into our welcoming lobby with a beautiful blown-glass chandelier and spectacular handcrafted canoe. See our 4,000 gallon salt-water aquarium, featuring live mangrove trees and a variety of aquatic life. Enter our main dining area through a two-story houseboat, salvaged from our original location. Restore yourself under the canopy of our tree forest beginning with a raw-edge slab wood bar through to our main dining and large party room, boasting amazing views of Lake Allatoona and spectacular sunsets.

    We enjoyed dinner last night at AG Steakhouse. The service was great and the restaurant staff was super accommodating and understanding. We had sushi, steaks (filet and ribeye), mashed potatoes and lobster mac&cheese. All of the food was delicious! I gave everything 5 stars besides the value I did 4 stars. While the food was very good and no complaints, the price of everything is very high. The prices here compare to nice places in Atlanta and that just seems excessive for a restaurant in Acworth on the lake. We would go back here and do recommend it, just be prepared this is a very high priced place.

    The steak was very good but the sides were mid. The sautéed spinach was raw. The risotto was not seasoned. The twice bakers were okay but could have been warmer. The old fashioned that was ordered also didn’t have any flavor.

    Excellent evening once again at AG SteakHouse. We had the filet and the chicken piccata. Both were excellent and the portion for the piccata meant some take home for lunch. We finished off the evening with the warm brownie with vanilla gelato. Service was provided by Kirk who knows his profession very well. Attentive without being intrusive.

    From the moment we walked in, the experience was nothing short of amazing. We were greeted with a warm welcome and served delicious cocktails that set the tone for the evening. The cheesy bread paired with honey butter was a delightful treat. The highlight, of course, was the phenomenal Picanha steaks. Cooked to perfection, they were tender, juicy, and full of flavors…Every bite was memorable. Overall, the service, ambiance, and food exceeded expectations. I can’t wait to return!

    Gorgeous decor, views, ambiance, food, wine, and service. I invited my sister for her birthday lunch and she, a great cook herself and a world traveler, LOVED everything! The staff was attentive without being annoying, and Jonathan stepped in when our waitperson’s shift ended- both were lovely, attentive, and very personable. I’ll be back with lots of others in tow… truly an incredible meal!!! PS: dinner at AG is going to be one of my husband’s Christmas presents!!!

    Thank you Kenzie and AG Steakhouse for the amazing food, service and overall fine experience we have grown accustomed to having each time we visit your fantastic venue. Our food exceeded expectations and Kenzie’s attentiveness made this a wonderful night. You know we will be back!

    We had Sunday brunch with old friends we haven't seen for many years, and as always our experience was impeccable. We were seated by the windows and had a wonderful view of the lake, and the food and service were all excellent. We feel so blessed to have such a great restaurant near where we live, and have dined there for several evening dinners and several brunches. We will certainly be back! The prime rib is to die for!!!

    Second time visit first time to eat in restaurant. Service was excellent. Food was very good but I struggle with the very pricey menu. I will return but only for a very very special occasion.

    It was my birthday and I wanted to have lunch on Lake Altoona. Because of wonderful reviews, we chose AG Steakhouse! It did not disappoint! Our food was delicious! Wonderful view of the lake. Excellent service. Great wine list. Highly recommend!

    Another wonderful dinner at Allatoona Grill. Kiara (not sure of spelling) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and dishes. We all had steaks that were delicious. I had a baked potato cooked perfectly.
