Chef Akira Back opens his first Canadian namesake restaurant in Toronto’s Bisha Hotel. Drawing on inspiration from his Korean heritage and travels around the globe, chef Back has created a menu that blends modern Japanese cuisine with authentic Korean flavours.     I celebrated my birthday on this restaurant last night. The experience, the food and the ambience were great! Even the servers did a good job! We’ll be coming back here for sure to try out the other dishes and cocktails!

    I’m always impressed with the timing of the food coming out. You’re not rushed but shortly after you’re finished one plate the next is on its way. And the servers are super attentive it’s amazing, all on top of fantastic food

    One of my favourite restos in the city - went for my fiancé's 30th birthday and it was the perfect atmosphere (especially for a man's birthday in my opinion- more of a masculine dark vibe). service is excellent and food is delicious. The fish in particular tastes fresh. However I do find drinks over priced (but that's most of Toronto now a days). It is expensive, but worth it for a special occasion.

    Amazing Dining Experience at Akira Back! I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Akira Back! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and truly above and beyond. The staff made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. The food was outstanding, with every dish crafted to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced, the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. Each bite was a delightful experience. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience, and I would highly recommend Akira Back to anyone looking for top-notch service and high-quality cuisine. I can’t wait to come back!

    Went to Akira back for my first time and wow, everything from the customer service, interior and the quality of the food was a 10/10. Chris the manager was super attentive and I had Jenn as a server who walked me through the menu, recommended options based on what I liked and was super attentive. The rock sushi was a 10/10 - best sushi I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back, thank you Chris and Jenn for making it such a special night!
