Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

    Alberts Standish offers three unique spaces for all types of events from weddings, corporate dinners and presentations to private parties. The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

    We celebrated New Year's Day and our daughters 40th birthday in style. Venue was very swish, service was great and all nine of our meals very good. The menu is good and amazingly moderately priced, especially for a Bank Holiday. Highly recommended

    Food and service was good. Disappointed with lack of seating in the party room so we left as we didnt want to stand for 3 hrs . So we didnt see the new year in at Alberts with our friends as wehad planned. More tables and chairs could have made available for people who had paid for the early bird meals. Or we should have been advised upon booking that we would not have seats in the party room.

    I usually Love Alberts ,and recently held my husbands birthday there in the library,last night I went with my friend beautiful Ambience the food is tasty but I feel it’s gone really expensive lately , and the sloe gin Prosecco cocktail , was a Prosecco flute 3 quarters full looked like a dirty brown unappetising drink with not a single garnish on it at £8.50 this was a very unimpressive start to the evening. I had a lovely night with my friend but I think because of the price they need to check their attention to detail!

    Started well with a lovely warm greeting from the restaurant manager. We were taken to our table and then waited 20 minutes for a drinks order to be taken and nearly half an hour for our food order to be taken. Service was poor all round with no attention at all from staff unless we asked, it really did feel like we were putting them out! One staff member was particularly rude! Food was not up to the usual high standard either! The chicken dish from the two course menu was especially lacking with poor presentation and ‘pink’ chicken! We had brought family members for the first time after our recommendation and they were far from impressed, particularly with the discretionary 10% service charge, which is fine if you’ve actually had good service! We have dined at Alberts on a number of occasions and it has always been to a high standard so hopefully this was just the end of a busy December blip!
