Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

    Alberts Standish offers three unique spaces for all types of events from weddings, corporate dinners and presentations to private parties. The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

    Place fabulous , food fabulous , the only negative is after 2 hours we were told we had to leave the table as they needed for next people which is fine and we understood that but the way it was done was really not acceptable, we both had drinks we hadn’t finished and both had ordered coffee which we hadn’t finished , I asked how long had we got and she said 5 mins so as we got up to move to the bar area was told we had to pay bill before we did , we settled the bill and then was left to move,, to carry our coats, bags and drinks , no offer of ,,, I will carry your drinks and get you a table , we was just left to sort ourselves out , luckily there was a table in the bar free , we had such a lovely night with great food and just think it would have been polite of the staff to have offered to help us move thought it was very unprofessional

    Had fish n chips from the lunch time menu. Have had this dish twice before. However, there was more batter than fish this time, so was disappointed. In fairness this was not the case to another at the table. Ambiance was lively and service was good.

    We had an excellent lunch today. My only criticism is the staff at times were too attentive clearing glasses and cups from individuals - it was an obvious selling technique which became annoying as it occurred several times by various staff. Most people can request additional drinks if needed. Based upon your tipping criteria this means higher bills and therefore higher tips if more drinks are purchased.

    First time visitors, but very pleased we went, and have already planned multiplie further visits. Beautiful food, excellent service, and quiet, relaxed ambience.

    Albert's has a great bar area to enjoy a drink before and after the meal. Jack was our server and he was attentive and helpful. The food is excellent value for money, beautifully served and very tasty.

    The waitress and manager were very helpful and careful about ensuring our food did not contain sesame seeds which one of our party was allergic to

    Was recommended Albert’s for a birthday breakfast and they didn’t disappoint. The staff are welcoming and friendly the food was delicious. Albert’s is a beautiful setting for a simple get together or a celebration.
