Alcove is a welcoming neighborhood restaurant on the edge of Boston’s West End, offering comfortable seasonal American fare & great cocktails from hospitality veteran Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli. Classic dishes like the Whole Roasted Chicken and beloved Prosciutto Bites delight guests, while signature cocktails like the Raspberry Lime Rickey and Champside—along with spirit-free options—ensure something for everyone.

The cozy dining room & expansive open-air patio boast stunning views of the Charles River & Zakim Bridge. Me gustó todo excepto el loop de la música, se repetía mucho. Resalto la deliciosa comida, el cordero delicioso y el postre (poched pear), también la atención de Kevin. Siempre es bueno un restaurante con personal bilingüe como él. Fue súper amable.

Disappointing experience—poor presentation, overpriced for the quality, and small portions stuffed with French fries. Not worth it.

We really liked the new menu, our food and the service was great. What was a bummer and put a damper on the evening is that every time someone came in- the cold air came rushing in and made it all the way to our table. Also, people kept using the exit door behind the host station so we got an even more direct hit every time someone left that way. Staff could have at least asked folks to use the main door where they could have also utilized the enclosure to avoid this very problem.

I don't know about the new menu setup. The food was spotty - some was good and some was disappointing, particularly for the cost. I might give them one more chance.

The new small plates menu is horrible. They got rid of a menu that was decent and now have small plates which are not good and are expensive. Even the hamburger was small and unappealing and fries just thrown on the plate. The service was terrible with 3 different servers in 1:45 min. The drinks took forever. Honestly there was nothing good.
