Aldana's Mexican Bar & Grill brings the excitement of stepping into an authentic Mexican plaza to the metro Detroit Area. Rooted in Authentic Mexican Flavors, top-quality ingredients, old-world cooking techniques with modern touches, you are instantly surrounded by the sights, smells, and sounds of Mexico the moment you step inside. In an effort to satisfy the many guests we have wanting to be served by us, we are implementing a maximum hour and a half visit. We have to make sure we give everybody an opportunity to enjoy the amazing experience we have to offer.

Food and service was excellent but the live entertainment that started shortly after we were seated was a little loud making it difficult to carry a conversation with others who were with us.

Food was great, as always. Service was good. Only complaint was the a/c was blasting and there wasn’t another space for us to move to, so it did impact our experience.

The food was not good. It was flavorless. The chips were stale. The waitress did the bare minimum. We had to ask for everything. A spoon for the salsa, straws for our drinks, napkins, you name it we had to ask it. I will not be going back!

Good Mexican food but priced on the high side for what you get. Service was great Wait staff friendly and helpful and polite.

This is great place to go for Mexican food and overall ambience. Room is greatly decorated, staff is great, food is delicious.

This is my first time dining since new owners, and we were so disappointed. We put our food order in with our drink order, as we knew what we wanted and we came hungry. Our food order got lost. People came and left before we got our food. The food runner had to take out order again, as our server was not attentive during this time. Literally an hour came and went before our food came out. My 19 year old ordered enchiladas, and said they tasted like they were from the freezer. Taco Bros on woodward is better. My signature chicken burrito was beyond dry, I had to bring it home to try to make it edible. My 16 year old ended up eating it, and he couldn’t eat it as it was served either. To wait over an hour, should have been fresh, not dry. Definitely not worth $20. Tried talking to the manager, she ended up comping our drinks but was less than receptive to the entire situation. So sad to lose Aldanas, it used to be a favorite.

Unfortunately I don’t remember our waitresses name but she was fantastic! Super kind and genuine and made some great recommendations to order. We got the wings, tacos, and finished with the fried ice cream. We were blown away with the flavor every item had. Will be coming back very soon and be recommending it to friends and family.
