Newly Remolded Alicante Restaurant is a waterfront restaurant that offers picturesque scenery with a relaxed and casual ambiance. It has an impressive menu that consists of unique items. All meals are prepared to order, with fresh produce and only high-quality cuts of meat and seafood. Now Open for Sunday Brunch and Dinner service.

Alicante is a well-known venue for casually going out, private parties, gatherings and celebrations . Patrons are welcome to enjoy their meals on the patio ( seasonality), surrounded by the beautiful scenery overlooking the water, or inside the large dining room and bar.

                                                                              We made a reservation but when we arrived there were plenty of seats at the bar, so we ended up sitting at the bar. That's my preference anyway so it worked out. We had shrimp cocktail and the shrimp gazpacho and both were very good. We were served rolls and butter, which is ALWAYS a plus in my book. My seared cod was underwhelming. The fish was not dry and there was a nice big piece. It was served with mixed vegetables and fingerling potatoes. The dish was just more bland that I would have liked. But the quality of the ingredients was very good. We finished with an Affogato which we both love. It was delicious. I had an Espresso Martini that was also good. Overall a good experience. Next time I will select another entre. On my last visit I got the Chicken Piccata and it was delicious.

                                                                              We have been dining at Alicantes for quite a few years - when the business was sold we dined a couple more times - the food wasn’t the same- so we didn’t go for about a yr and a half! We went last night (Syeed) (spelling)was our server! He was brand new - only has 3rd night on his own! You would have thought he was there for years! He was great! Also the chicken parm with bolognese was delicious! We certainly missed our server John whom we had over the years! Will be back again when we are in town! Tysm

                                                                              Service was great, start to finish. They gave us a choice when we drove up of parking on the street or using the valet parking, as their lot was already full. We just parked on the street and had no problems. We had the Chicken Piccata and Short ribs, plus a simple greens salad to split. Everything was delicious. They brought the salad split into two bowls for us, and each portion was more than enough for a side salad with a meal. Chicken was very tender and flavorful. The short ribs fell apart and had great flavor. Accompanying Brussel sprouts were glazed and a real treat. The risotto was excellent as well. Alicante is higher priced than we would spend except as a special outing, but it is worth the money.

                                                                              Great service. Very good food. I like Alicante and hope the restaurant evolves as it should. Bar service just OK. Not as welcoming as I would have imagined but table service really made up for it.
