Newly Remolded Alicante Restaurant is a waterfront restaurant that offers picturesque scenery with a relaxed and casual ambiance. It has an impressive menu that consists of unique items. All meals are prepared to order, with fresh produce and only high-quality cuts of meat and seafood. Now Open for Sunday Brunch and Dinner service.

Alicante is a well-known venue for casually going out, private parties, gatherings and celebrations . Patrons are welcome to enjoy their meals on the patio ( seasonality), surrounded by the beautiful scenery overlooking the water, or inside the large dining room and bar.

We have been here many times over the years. Food is very good and service is good. They don’t pay as close to the details like they use to: water, drinks, etc. Prices have continued to increase but overall no real complaints. My only observation is that every time we come it’s a different staff. Seems to be a big turnover. I assume it’s ownership or management. No complaints but find it strange.

Good food and service. Parking is valet and tight. When it is light out you can see the lake

We had such a disappointing dinner Saturday. Our waitress was okay, our food terrible. I sent my food back it was not hot had no flavor subpar at best! We have given this restaurant many chances but this was our final visit. Since purchasing from the original owners Alicante is not the same! Sadly we live right in town and this has been a great option for us.

Love the new remodel and look of the restaurant. Very cozy. Great service and as always delicious food.

Great food, service and ambiance. We always loved the bar at Alicante (especially in summer with the beautiful lake view) - one of the nicest in the area. We haven't had dinner there in a year, and it was wonderful. Excellent service and food and the renovated dining room is very, very nice. The only comment I have - and this has nothing to do with the restaurant. The table next to us were on their phones, sharing videos, facetime video chat with their kids. So obnoxious in a nice restaurant like this. I'd love to see restaurants banning cell phone use in dining areas...

Food was good, no complaints. Service was OK. Alicante used to be an exceptional restaurant. It has new owners and has been totally renovated and it is beautiful, but it just doesn’t have the same spark that it used to. Food not as good and the service is not at the same level as it had been. Just a regular restaurant now and probably won’t go back.

We always rely on Alicante for special occasions and it does not disappoint. The atmosphere and service are top notch, and the food is always prepared with great care and taste.

We’ve enjoyed another dinner at Alicante and it is our go to place for a guaranteed fantastic meal. Jessica waited on us and recommended a Cabernet that was outstanding. She took the time to discuss wines and offered other recommendations that we’ll purchase at our local store. Alicantes is a hidden gem in Mendon and I’d put it up against any restaurants in Boston and Providence. Well worth the trip.

Food was good I left hungry I had the seafood bowl Mariscota not enough food for the price. Will definitely look for other options in that area going forward.

Starting with Justin at the door and our service though out our visit was outstanding. Just a little chilly inside but it’s expected with a snowstorm just starting outside. Watermelon Mocktail was outstanding.
