Alma Bistro, Cocina Latina located in North Norwalk, was founded out of a deep love for real food, food that is fresh, healthy, and authentically latino. We only use real ingredients fresh eggs, organic tomatoes, fresh water fish, and free-range chicken. We strive to make each and every dish a wholesome expression of our love for food, life, and living. Alma Bistro brings nuevo-latino soul food with an upscale twist.

Alma Bistro was born in 2022 a vision of Ulises Jimenez, head chef and owner of Don Rene Taqueria in Milford, CT, with Noberto Lucero as head chef and of course Alma Miranda. Together they've combined their passion for nuevo-latino food and custom cocktails with Alma Bistro, bringing you some of the best latino fusion in Fairfield County. Hands down the best Latin food I’ve had the pleasure to eat in quite awhile. A very creative menu lends itself to plate sharing to optimize choices. Service was attentive and efficient. Nice ambience lent itself to a lovely evening! I highly recommend trying this place for delicious, creative food.

Delicious food , fresh and super flavorful .Always feel welcome. Very nice and attentive service. The drinks are generous and creative. Check out the special , the salmon special was spectacular , generous portions. A real local gem.

We have been frequent diners at Alma's for a while now. I recently visited and while the food was delicious, some aspects of my experience could’ve been better. The waitress was doing her best, but she seemed to be handling the entire restaurant on her own, which led to slower service. I also noticed there was only one bartender for the whole place, which resulted in long wait times for drinks. We were done with dessert and the waitress wasn't even able to get back to us to ask us if we wanted another drink. Also, when the drinks arrived, they were mostly filled with ice, which made them feel less worthwhile. Also, they seem to have trouble with the heat in the restaurant, they had portable heaters to help. In the men's bathroom, there was no water coming from the hot tap, just cold. While I enjoyed the food, next time, if I’m craving their dishes, I’ll probably opt for takeout to avoid the long wait. Hopefully, with a little more staff, the experience would be much smoother.

My husband and I discovered this restaurant fairly recently, and we have been back serval towns in short order. The food is excellent, and comes out quickly- tapas style. Waitstaff has been great and friendly every time. Highly recommend.

Alma Bistro is a hidden gem...please go try them for lunch or dinner. The food is SUPER fresh, beautifully displayed, and yummy!!! Their guacamole is freshly made, along with the chips; I love their fish tacos; the artichoke app is AWESOME. Please go there, its is very well priced and excellent fare.

The food is excellent, and for some reason it is never very busy when we go there. The appetizer choices are numerous. One time we just ate several of those, but two of our group had the burger, which they said was delicious. I had the Chicken Chacha - cha, which was unique and really, really good. If you come here once, I guarantee you will come back.
