A throwback to the quintessential New York City dining experience of the 1930’s & 40’s, with a modern approach. Enjoy expertly curated wines, spirits and specialty cocktails.

Located in the heart of Westman Village in Mahogany, we are Calgary's favourite venue for live jazz, dancing, amazing food and drinks.

We are open Tuesday to Thursday at 5:00pm until late Friday to Sunday at 4:00pm to late with live entertainment every night. Come enjoy our Sunday Jazzy Brunch 10:00am to 2:00pm. Enjoy our fabulous Happy Hour from Tuesday to Thursday 5:00pm to 6:00pm and Friday to Sunday 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

    Very comfortable setting. This is a place definitely for dressing up for. We did notice a young couple who were not dressed for the environment, which made us wonder why they were there. Otherwise the music was great and the appetizers were delicious. Great service and comfortable seating.

    Great atmosphere the food is definitely overpriced and I found the portion size for the chairman’s cut steak to be on meager side. For 57 dollars I think that the size of the bef tenderloin left something to be desired. The chicken was good. I think that the portions sizes should be reviewed I’m sure you guys are more than in a position financially to offer better value to your customer. For many of us going to an establishment like this is a special occasion kind of thing. You should offer better value when it comes to the main courses. I think if you did you’d definitely notice a sizeable uptick in your business .

    The ambience was particularly worth the spot! It was a pleasure to be entertained by such talented and skilled musicians. Food was also delish!

    the jazz was so so so lovely. the venue is beautiful. food was good! we came for our anniversary and no one mentioned anything. our service was a bit slow and server was not that kind.

    We took our Friends for dinner last night to Date night!!! It was exceptional in everyday and didn't disappoint..... Excellent service, food and ambience. Great live music too. Highly recommend for an enchanted evening!!! will be back real soon.

    We booked it for our parents 50+ Anniversary. They throughly enjoyed it and said staff was very attentive.

    Have been wanting to go the Alvins for a while. Absolutely loved the decor and ambiance. Went for Sunday brunch. Food was great. Service fabulous! Working on making another reservation soon!

    Love the atmosphere, live music and great service at Alvin's. Food overall very good but agnolotti pasta wasn't cooked enough and cheese bread was cold. They compensated by providing complimentary dessert. Will definitely return.
