A throwback to the quintessential New York City dining experience of the 1930’s & 40’s, with a modern approach. Enjoy expertly curated wines, spirits and specialty cocktails.

Located in the heart of Westman Village in Mahogany, we are Calgary's favourite venue for live jazz, dancing, amazing food and drinks.

We are open Tuesday to Thursday at 5:00pm until late Friday to Sunday at 4:00pm to late with live entertainment every night. Come enjoy our Sunday Jazzy Brunch 10:00am to 2:00pm. Enjoy our fabulous Happy Hour from Tuesday to Thursday 5:00pm to 6:00pm and Friday to Sunday 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

    Last night was my third time eating at Alvin’s jazz club. The service was spectacular. Food amazing. Atmosphere welcoming. This is quickly becoming my favorite Sunday restaurant (prime rib night)

    We didn’t have food on this trip but we have in the past and it was awesome! ( especially the dessert) we enjoyed some drinks and the music- the only drawback was it is always too warm in there

    We went for the live jazz music and date night experience. It was lovely. To have the tuna appetizer, the short rib was flavourful and the cheesecake or tiramisu was incredible. Make sure to get the half price bottle of wine and the espresso martini was definitely worth it.

    Everything was perfect. Servers treated us like royalty. The food and cocktails were delicious. The ambience and piano was such a special touch to our evening. I recommend this cozy place!

    Very comfortable setting. This is a place definitely for dressing up for. We did notice a young couple who were not dressed for the environment, which made us wonder why they were there. Otherwise the music was great and the appetizers were delicious. Great service and comfortable seating.

    Great atmosphere the food is definitely overpriced and I found the portion size for the chairman’s cut steak to be on meager side. For 57 dollars I think that the size of the bef tenderloin left something to be desired. The chicken was good. I think that the portions sizes should be reviewed I’m sure you guys are more than in a position financially to offer better value to your customer. For many of us going to an establishment like this is a special occasion kind of thing. You should offer better value when it comes to the main courses. I think if you did you’d definitely notice a sizeable uptick in your business .
