The Levant is the place where the sun rises, geographically it covers the region bordering the eastern Mediterranean Sea. This region hosted a vast variety of cultures through history creating what is now known as the Levantine Cuisine which is the specialty of Ammatoli.

AMMATOLI is distinctive and extraordinarily fresh and healthy. We use only the finest quality ingredients, honoring the traditional recipes and exotic flavors from the cuisines of the Levant... and served in a warm and welcoming ambiance!

Our Mediterranean influenced kitchen gains inspiration from the best cuisine the Levant has to offer. Our fresh creative menu items are always made from scratch. Went in expecting a great experience. While the food was delicious and the ambience was interesting and lovely, that wait staff was condescending and judgmental. We left feeling less excited then before and would think twice before going back again.

Had reservations for 6:30 pm for a party of 6. Our server seemed to be more focused on her other tables instead of our table. Not that it really matters but would be nice to know that the bread wasn’t complimentary. Also a shame that tip was already included. My sibling had ordered something to go when our server told us that it was about to be last call before the kitchen closed, however, the server didn’t put in the order, and so my sibling didn’t get that order made. We told the server about it and she coldly just said sorry kitchen’s closed. Fortunately though, the food was good.

Service was not great. Server was not very knowledgeable about the menu. Ended up ordering pita to go with entree after being told that entree would only come with the meat only for the entree to come with pita. Spent $6 unnecessarily for the pita. Hummus also did not come with anything to eat with, required a separate purchase of the pita. They were also unable to split our checks, which made it difficult as we were on a work trip.

Food and service are always good. Noise level is high and in their back room where it is quieter for conversation, they stated they only allow parties of 7 or more.

Ammatoli always delivers. Our waiter, Chase, did an outstanding job of herding cats with our table of eight. And I would go so far as to say Chef Dima is one of the best Middle Eastern chefs in greater LA.

Such delicious food!!! Highly recommend the spicy hummus. You’ll never had a hummus this good. Will comeback to explore the rest of the menu!!

Everything was PERFECT!! Each visit never disappoints. If you're not sure what to order, the staff is so helpful with their food suggestions and pairings. I highly recommend their brunch menu.

The food is consistently good and does come out to you in a timely manner. Our server Dane, made sure we were ready for our entrees before serving them. Their moussaka is the best I've had in years. The pita bread is served as soft hot balloons which are moist and unlike any pita you have had before.
